Simple Mind Map is operated by M Tahreem Alam, based in Pakistan. This policy explains how the mind-map app, product website, and support form handle information. Contact us at m.tahreem.alam@gmail.com.
Information we process
- Mind-map content: the title and Markdown that ChatGPT sends to our tool when you ask for a map or an update. This may include any personal information you choose to put in that content. We do not request your other chats, contacts, or a separate account profile.
- Support information: your reply email address, subject, message, and subsequent correspondence when you contact us. Mind-map content is not attached automatically.
- Technical information: our hosting and delivery providers may process IP addresses, request times, browser or device information, request paths, error information, and delivery events to operate and secure their services.
Please do not submit passwords, API keys, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for a mind map or support request.
Why we use it
We process map content to return the requested interactive map. We process support information to answer your request and resolve problems. Technical information supports operation, security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. We do not sell your personal information, add you to a marketing list, use your map or support content to train our own models, or add advertising or analytics trackers to the app or website.
Where information goes
- Vercel hosts the website and server functions. Requests, including map or support inputs when those functions are used, pass through its infrastructure.
- Brevo sends support requests to the publisher's Gmail inbox. It receives your reply email, subject, and message. Support replies are handled in Gmail.
- OpenAI / ChatGPT handles your conversation, tool results, embedded viewer, and any native file saving or downloads available in your host. These are governed by your OpenAI account settings and applicable OpenAI policies.
- Sites you choose to access: opening a link takes you to that site. An external image URL can cause a request to its host where the viewer and host security settings permit it. Those sites may receive technical request information.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, or defend legal rights. We limit such disclosure to what is necessary.

Our server code does not intentionally log map source or support-message bodies. Providers may retain limited backup, security, or legally required records under their own policies after an operational deletion.
Your choices and requests
You can choose what to send, avoid external images, stop using the app, and manage conversations, app connections, and exported files through ChatGPT's controls. The app provides no separate saved-map account to close.
To request access, correction, or deletion of support information we hold, email m.tahreem.alam@gmail.com. Include enough information to locate your request; do not send identity documents or passwords. We may ask for reasonable verification that you control the relevant email address. We will handle requests according to applicable law and explain any legal restriction on deletion. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, or complain to a relevant regulator. Requests about information held only in ChatGPT should be directed through OpenAI's controls.
International processing and security
The operator is in Pakistan. Our providers may process information in other countries. Their contractual and technical safeguards and policies apply to that processing. We use HTTPS and keep service credentials on the server. No service can guarantee complete security.
Eligibility and changes
Use of the ChatGPT app requires meeting ChatGPT's applicable eligibility rules. We do not intentionally solicit information from children who do not meet those rules. Contact us if you believe such information was submitted. We will update this page when our practices change and show the revision date.
